It’s
most classical style can be seen in the main entrance,
presided over by a reproduction of part of the plateresque
facade of the University of Salamanca, crafted by
hand from stone in Villamayor.
Also in the resort lobby, which occupies some 700
square metres, is one of the distinctive traits
of the Hotel: “El Cielo de Salamanca”
(The Salamanca Sky), renaissance work by the painter
Fernando Gallego originally located in the University
of Salamanca Library and which at this time is on
show at the Patio de Escuelas Menores in the Salamanca
School Museum. |
